Shopping in Addis is quit a challenge and time consuming. Every week there are new products found and some items just disappear during the day. There are a lot of little market shops on the street for fruits and some basics, but as a western family, we mostly shop in supermarkets where they also sell some ‘western/ international’ products.
To give you a little insight:
If you have had enough punch chaud aux fruits, hot chocolates, heisse weine and/or Williams schnapps this winter. My bucket list .. it is a never-ending work in progress, continuously updated and being altered. But having a bucket list, is to have a life and utilize it fully before it’s knocked off from under your feet!

Where can I find the boutique industrial cool area of Zürich?? When visiting a city I’m dying for getting inspired, boutique shopping, studio-gallery strolling, eating delicatesses and getting impressed by people on the street. No bankers, no discerning shoppers, but more the urban-fashion-bohemian-trendy-art-lovers. So where is this area? I know they have it in Zürich; the home to the largest techno street party! But where?

I love cocktails, especially in the summer at the end of the day. On holidays around 5 o’clock I take my first one when the sun is losing a bit of its heat, I’ll add the heat with a cocktail.
